This certificate, released by TUV Italy - which belongs to the German
Group TUV Suddeutschland - is related to the entire process of designing, manufacturing and marketing of gas components and complete fuel supplying systems for gas-propelled vehicles.

REG® products are subjected to a process control for the entire manufacturing course which starts from in-coming material control to final tests under pressure performed on the production as a whole in accordance with the international and internal Regulations in order to guarantee and maintain continually a high standard of quality and safety.
The LPG and CNG converting components are approved in line with the European Regulations R67 01 and R110. Moreover, the CNG converting components are approved in accordance with ISO 15500 Regulation.
REG® converting systems for small, medium and high power engines are approved in line with the European standards for emissions of pollution Euro4.

The “Etagas” and “Sequential” systems have been homologated in compliance with current european standards, both in terms of the product and in terms of the very strict pollution norms, Euro 3 and Euro 4. These systems can also be used to convert vehicles equipped with OBD system, with minimal difference in performance, being extremely reliable and offering great energy savings and therefore much less pollution.

STAR GAS Srl is a modern firm that since 1982 designs and produces LPG conversion systems. The first component entirely designed and produced by StarGas was the cylindrical tank, made in several sizes. In 1989 StarGas produces its first Lpg reducer, which, through the years, became one of the more reliable on the market. In the same year, the Company gets more involved in the whole feeding system, adding to its products also mixers, multivalves and Lpg and petrol electrovalves. In the 90's, Stargas starts planning and production of electronic components for system control, such as the series of petrol-Lpg commutators with Lpg level indicators and injection emulators. Considering the last motor developments, and a far more sensible attention to the environment, StarGas designs, first, a carburetion control system in closed loop (DL401), operating according to the data received from the lambda probe present in the silencer of newest cars, and then the latest sophisticated system for sequential injection (POLARIS) . These systems allows to respect the lowest emission limits imposed by regulations in force (Euro 2, Euro 3 and Euro 4) and guarantees as well the best motor performances. This line of products enables the conversion to LPG fuel of every kind of car (petrol fed) on the market. Thanks to eagerness and enthusiasm of its people, StarGas has now successfully reached a good position on national market and, in the last years, on foreign markets as well. The last and important result achieved by StarGas haas been the certification, issued by major European Institutes, of its own Quality System, according to the norm UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 (Vision 2000).
